Team, 

Thank you for those who have responded to my first team email. Few parents have requested to have their significant other added to the contact list for the team.  I was told that you will need to log into your account on the East Williston Little league website and make changes or additions to your contact information. Once this is done, they will be automatically included in any future emails.

I created the group me account and invited all parents who gave their cell numbers on the contact list. If I am missing anyone please feel free to add yourself to the group me or simply email me the cell number.

Please note, all scheduling and main information for the team will be sent out via email. Groupme will be used as a quick way to reach out the coaches for any last minute issues or communication.

Scheduling is still in the works for games and practices, Please do not look at the EWLL website schedule as these are not correct or finalized.

As mentioned before, we are currently working on putting together some early practices before mother nature allows us to be outside.

Good Morning Boys and Parents,

On Behalf of myself and Coach Phil Basner, We would like to welcome you to the team.

We have the honor of coaching your boys this upcoming season. We are very much looking forward to providiing a safe, fun and overall positive experience with the help of all parents in this endeavor. 

While the League is preparing schedule, Fields and Uniforms, We ask that you dust off the gloves and bats in preperation of having a successful season.

Equipment - Aside from Masks, Gloves, Bats and cleats. We recomend the boys have a chest guard protection and mandatory cup protection for every practice and game. Once Uniforms are ready, I will contact everyone and pass them out at the next practice.

Communication - In order to make this a successful season for all. We stress that the parents respond to all emails and texts so coaches can plan accordingly. As coaches, we will promise to prepare the boys to the best of our abilities. We will need your help to communicate with us so we can create line ups and positions for each game. Each iof the five teams only have 10 boys on a roster, so attendance and communication will be key.  Safety for the boys will be the leagues #1 concern. We urge any parent to feel to ask the coaches any questions or concerns they may have as well.

We will be setting up a "Groupme" team chat which will also help in the communication process. If you do not have the app yet, Kindly download it and I will send out an invite. www.groupme.com is the link if you cant find it in you app store.

We will be looking into possibly having a few early optional practices indoors at a local batting cage or gym in hopes all this snow melts in a timely manner.
